Riley Pomykal '27

Introducing Riley Pomykal '27, a rising star from the Graduating Class of 2027 in the US Virgin Islands. An Attacking Midfielder currently training with the U17 USVI National Soccer Team.
A dedicated player in USVI since 2020, Riley also plays for the Helenites Mens Sports Club and has been a key player in school being a 3 x SCIAA Junior Varsity and Varsity Soccer Championship on the beautiful island of St Croix. His travels to compete include Santo Domingo Dominica Republic, Tortola British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, St Thomas USVI, Minnesota and Florida to name a few. The teams he has been proud to represent include USVI National Team U12, U14, U15, U17, Helenites Sports Club Youth and Mens team, Good Hope Country Day School and FreeWill Baptist School. He has participated in the U12 Concacaf Tournament, U14 CFU Tournament, U15 International Friendly, U15 International Friendly, Spring Into Action Tournaments, USA Target Cup and Copa Las Americas Tournaments. Riley began his soccer career in Oak Cliff, Texas with intense training at the young age of 4 with club team Athletico Espanol. When his family decided it was time to fully immerse Riley in a new culture offering athletic development, they chose the US Virgin Islands over moving to far North Texas.
